There are lots of attractions and activities you can do on and around the loch.

This is a very popular area for nature walks, Ness Glen being one or hiking over the Carrick hills. If water sports are more of an interest, you can relax by the loch fishing and catch some lovely brown trout or try kayaking amongst other activities at the Craigmalloch Outdoor Activity Centre further down the loch. 
Within a few miles or short drive from the park you can visit Loch Doon Castle, Osprey viewing at the Roundhouse Café, the spectacular Dalcairney Falls or have a splash in the pool at Doon Valley Leisure Centre.
